Shared Names in London and Paris

St. Paul's / Saint–Paul comes close, but Temple is the only exact match since Paris's Arsenal station closed (on 2 September 1939 – the day before Britain declared war on Germany, the reason for the closure being the mobilisation of Metro employees for military service).

And even Temple may be spelt the same, but it's pronounced very differently!

Paris's Saint–Paul station is also known as Le Marais. This is the name of the district that it serves (meaning ' the marsh'); Saint–Paul is the name of a street.
